LAM undertake safety operational exercise
Under the safety operational procedures, LAM undertook on July 15th, 2011 an operational exercise to test its response in cases of emergencies.
The exercise was made in cooperation with all entities that LAM co-operates at Maputo International Airport and was focused on the flight TM 312, from Johannesburg to Maputo, carrying 56 passengers.
“This practice is one of the procedures established under the IATA – International Air Transportation Association – standards and we undertake it once a year to assure that we are upgrading the operational safety procedures”.
