General
Despite the fact that all animals are accepted into the aircraft cargo compartments as freight, only pets may be accepted as baggage.
Note: If accompanying a blind or deaf passenger, the animal must be accepted free of charge in the passenger cabin and shall not occupy a passenger seat. Passenger may be allocated on any window seat, except emergency rows.
Maximum Number of Pets per Flight
The maximum number of pets accepted per flight is three.
Live Animals in Cabin (PETC)
General
PETC are any small animals such as dogs, cats, and birds etc. that meet the following conditions:
- They are clean and in good health

They are stowed in a cage, container or waterproof bag, not exceeding:
Height -25 cm
Length -50 cm
Weight -5 kg (cage + animal) - They hold an updated "Vaccines Health Certificate"
Note 1: Pregnant female animals are not accepted for transportation.
Note 2: In principle, containers must be supplied by the passenger.
Limitations
Note: When a passenger travels with two or more small animals inside the same kennel/cage, for maximum allowance purposes, it will be considered as one animal.
Excess Baggage
Excess baggage will always be charged, taking into account the total weight of kennel/cage + animal, even if passenger did not use the total free baggage allowance.
Live Animals in Hold (AVI)
General
AVIH are all pets weighing more than 5 kg or as the result of a passenger request, are to be carried in cargo compartments. The following conditions must be met:
- They are clean and in good health

They are properly stowed in kennels or cages not exceeding:
Height - 60 cm
Length -130 cm
Width - 68 cm - They hold an updated "Vaccines Health Certificate"
- The container floor must provide some absorbent substance (e.g. sand or sawdust) to avoid urine spillage in hold
Note 1: Pregnant female amimals are not accepted for transportation.
Note 2: In principle, containers must be supplied by the passenger.
Excess Baggage
Excess baggage will always be charged, taking into account the total weight of kennel/cage + animal, even if passenger did not use the total free baggage allowance.
