Message of the Chief Executive Officer
Dear Client and Friend,
It is with great satisfaction that we celebrate the thirty-third (33rd) anniversary of LAM on April 14. We also recall the seventy-seventh (77th) anniversary of the airline service since DETA was created prior to becoming LAM.
We are proudly honored for your presence on board of LAM, and we will strive to continue preferring to fly on our airline.
We are working towards consolidating our presence in the domestic market by positioning aircrafts in Tete and Nampula through our subsidiary MEX-Mozambique Express, our partner in the implementation of the development strategy for the integrated network.
With the creation of bases outside Maputo, will contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. We also launch the challenge to local youth to prepare themselves not only to fly as LAM passengers, but also as our crew on the aircraft of the flag-carrier positioned in the provinces.
Our valuable customer should have noted that safety and quality are and will always be on top of our priorities. Since 2007, LAM has been successful in IATA audits, IOSA audits, as well as ISO 9001:2008 quality service.
For the year 2013, we expect good results in the IOSA audit, clearly demonstrating our concern for compliance with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Industry, and thus showing that LAM is a company that ensures the safety of its customers.
