LAM Adjusts Flights to Johannesburg

LAM - Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique, continues to closely monitor the developments of the Novel Corona Virus outbreak (COVID-19), and takes the necessary steps in line with the various guidelines and restrictions, in order to assist the travel needs of its customers.

With effect, from March 21st to April 4th, 2020, the company will reduce flights on the Maputo / Johannesburg / Maputo route, on two days of the week, namely: Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Customers who purchased tickets for the aforementioned days, will now have the option of traveling on the same day with our codeshare partner or they can rebook on a flight and date of their choice without any additional payment.

The double daily flights on the other days of the week, will continue to operate as scheduled with the appropriate aircraft.

Looking after the health and safety of its employees and customers, has always been LAM’s top priority. In line with that therefore,  it is actively engaged with the relevant authorities, and is collaborating with the National Health Directorate, as well as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) of which it is a member.
