LAM AND TAAG Revitalize Commercial Agreement

Under the existing partnership between LAM and TAAG, the two companies undertook the revitalization of a commercial agreement, called a SPA – Special Prorate Agreement – Passenger.

The objective is to enable passengers to travel in either company, whether they have purchased the ticket at LAM or TAAG. For example, a customer purchases a ticket at a LAM shop to fly from Maputo, via Luanda, to an international destination operated by TAAG, like Lisbon, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Havana, among others, or to a domestic destination in Angola.

Passengers coming from Luanda may make connections from Maputo, on flights operated by LAM, to Nampula, Nacala, Pemba, Tete, Quelimane, Inhambane and Vilankulo, and from Johannesburg to Maputo, Beira, Vilankulo, Inhambane, Pemba, Tete and Nampula.

On 2 November, TAAG began holding direct flights between Maputo and Luanda, with two flights per week, via their own aircraft and via codeshare with LAM.
