Indico voted Africa’s Leading Inflight Magazine

Indico magazine is the winner of the award for “Africa’s Leading Inflight Magazine 2020”, the results of which were released today, November 9, 2020, by the World Travel awards https://www.worldtravelawards.com/award-africas-leading-inflight-magazine-2020.

The distinction results from obtaining the greatest number of votes from readers, mostly passengers, customers, professionals and specialists from the aviation and tourism sectors.

Reacting to the award, LAM’s Director General, João Jorge, expressed satisfaction for the achievement and gratitude to all the magazine’s supporters and users of the airline’s services.

“A feat of this nature shows how vital the stability that shareholders give to the company is, and that factor is the driving force that encourages professionals to give their best to the company. To all, including market partners and other interested parties, particularly the public that has done so much for LAM, we express our immense gratitude.”

ĺndico was created in 1988 and is the oldest thematic magazine in Mozambique. With the pertinence of staying current, as well as following the trends end dynamics of the civil aviation industry, including the need to stand out in differentiating factors, it invests in innovative editorial projects, and is currently in its fourth series, produced by EXECUTIVE Mozambique. Last year, the magazine had already been selected by the WTA to be on the shortlist of the best in-flight magazines on the African continent. Nationally, the magazine was distinguished as “Best Tourism Partner” in an initiative by AVITUM - Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators of Mozambique, in 2013.

It is also seen as a reference in the field of education, due to the use of its articles for various studies, in addition to being a means of promoting cultural dialogue, as its texts are published in Portuguese and English, which broadens the scope of dissemination and understanding of the aspects covered, prioritizing information about Mozambique, although also focusing on other destinations in the world.
