Within the context of improving its operations and boosting its reliability, the company rewarded three employees who reported the highest number of anomalies in the functioning of the institution, thus contributing to a reliable, safe and economical operation of the aircraft.

LAM-Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique and Mozambican composer and performer Stewart Sukuma recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Maputo aimed at formalizing and consolidating the existing relationship between the company and the artist whose image is in line with the carrier’s positioning.

Under the motto “For the smile of workers’ children,” LAM held an event to celebrate the  hildren’s fortnight, on 1 June, International Children’s Day and 16 June, African Children’s Day.

On 18 December 2021, Mozambican Airlines (LAM) carried out the first commercial flight to the Filipe Jacinto Nyusi Airport (FJN), from Johannesburg (JHB), with a stopover in Maputo.
